  1. I loved it! I love it when I am in tune with my soul... For me that often means fiery or passionate;) I loved what she says and she is stunning! Stunning. Thanks for sharing. Western women will change the hope of the future. We are part of that Rain. Slowly I feel the shift. I feel it in all the diverse bloggers I love. It's in and around us. We are part of a movement called BEING. It changes everything.

  2. P.s. I did some research on her as I have never heard of her and I am quite proud to see that she has changed her philosophy a bit. I found this article as well as Sera's response and Vanessa's response back to her in the comments section enlightening.

Both women are BEING and trying to find themselves and truth. I find that beautiful and inspiring. I probably could not get into the whole feminine movement of spiritual and sexual as much as she was before but I could see why it was part of her journey. I feel that Vanessa made some very valid points on women...YET Sera is so authentic in changing some things and being true. Cancelling her book, relationship and movie says A LOT. Wow. what an amazing journey! What do you think of it all?

I love how all of us women are called to different things. Let's continue to celebrate that!

    1. regardless of what she believes or doesn't believe now or in the past, i found this video inspiring. <3 it is beautiful to see how we shift and grow and develop our views and understanding of things. i think change is healthy because it is a sign of growth. does that answer your question? and i celebrate with you! :)

    2. Yes, I completely agree and see what you see. The video was more beautiful once I read the other article BECAUSE of all she grew through. She had to be more sexual to get to the point she is now. While that is not completely my journey ( although I'm very comphy with sexuality) I know it can be others . Yes, you helped further the conversation with an answer. I really appreciate that. Although I am not about the answers... It's the conversation when I want to hear more of others souls. I love your soul and the mystery that encompasses your path along with the answers;)
      Love

  3. this. this right here. this is almost everything i've gathered in the past six months. ... tonight i stood in the dark, and stared at the not-black sky and realized that i am no longer afraid of myself. or for myself.

oh the expanse of that understanding...

    this is my next book.

  4. as I sit here with the tears of all emotions streaming down my face I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am to have watched such beauty and truth today...these are the times when I wish so that I could call you up and meet up face to face to discuss.....
this was a great reminder for me
    so inspiring and validating
and before I head off into the solitude of paper and pen I am going to post this video on my blog
    this needs to be shared
    for all woman to hear...
    for all women to feel
I agree with the Dali Lama's words
we have the means, we have to knowledge, we as western women are blessed
it is why being involves with SOLAHI (http://loveandlight-cat.blogspot.ca/2012/07/back-to-colombia.html)
    is so important to me
it reminds me of this truth
that I live in abundance that allows me to use my voice
when I read books like SnowFlower and the Secret Fan if reminds me of how women's voices in the the past and still in places today has been silenced...mine is not, ours is not and it is needed to be heard...we need to take advantage of our situation and rise up...RISE UP!I recently wrote this:
    "finding my voice
when lips have been stitched shut
    not by Spirit
    but by man
    treated like a wound
    that needs tending to
for fear of power and strength
    that would come forth..."

    I heard the call
    loud and clear
    thank you my dear friend
thank you for your courage to speak and be heard
    again and again and again
the shift is upon us...it is happening...it is now
    there is no doubt

love and light to you my lovely ♥

  5. I first saw the video on Cat's blog and omg.. omg did it affect me. I bawled and bawled. I'll take the truth in this video any day. it inspired me. when I went to her old blog, though and then read the article that kmarie posted. i felt so disappointed. those are my issues though. we are all of us growing. even people already in the public eye. but her message here??? absolutely mindblowing. ego-shattering ( in the best possible way) thanks to you and cat for the intro to this woman's words. especially right now. such synchronicity.

    1. i find that it's more than ok to take as gift truth however it comes. we are free to not consume everything before us, only that which brings life. it's important to have grace on those in the public eye because they are shifting and growing behind the scenes just like we are. i know i don't even look like the person i did a few years ago.

Please be respectful in your words. I am on a journey and this is a glimpse of it. I do not engage in debating nor do I choose to spend my energy defending what I write.
